Modric-Casemiro-Kroos: the revival of the Madrid milieu

They made the heyday of Real with the three titles of European champions in a row (2016, 2017, 2018). It was impossible to imagine a midfielder without them and, barring a physical glitch, Zinédine Zidane fielded them in every match. From right to left, in a 4-3-3 system, their names were recited like in a poem: Luka Modric, Carlos Henrique Casemiro and Toni Kroos. But after the departure of the French coach and that of Cristiano Ronaldo, in the summer of 2018, the general depression of the Merengue team had not spared them.
