The first World Cup race of the season – then the paraski skier Zebastian Modin was involved in a dramatic battle for the podium in Finnish Vuokatti.
After 12.5 kilometers of riding in classic style, it was impossible to distinguish Modin from the Russian Stanislav Chokhlaev. Both had a time of 30.56.8 and shared second place, just over six seconds behind Canadian winner Brian McKeever.
