The UN Children’s Fund delivered to Ukraine more than 2 million doses of the COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine produced by the American company Moderna. A batch of 2,000,040 doses was provided by the US government through the global COVAX mechanism. informs UNICEF Sunday 18 July.

Moderna is an mRNA vaccine that requires special handling and storage conditions. This vaccine requires temperatures between -50 ° C and -15 ° C. For a full course of vaccination with this drug, you need to receive two doses.

Earlier it was reported that in the next couple of weeks more than 8 million doses should be delivered to Ukraine vaccines against coronavirus, among them – Moderna. And in August, supplies of Novavax will begin.

Let us remind you that for the last 24 hours over 50 thousand Ukrainians received vaccinations… In total, 4,061,475 vaccinations have been made in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.
