Emily Ratajkowski is pregnant, she reports on Monday Instagram by referring to an interview in Vogue. The model, together with her husband, hopes to convey as little gender bias to her first child as possible.
Ratajkowski does not tell when her due date is and what the sex of her unborn child is. The model has been married to film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard since 2018.
According to Ratajkowski, gender is much more complex than the sex organs through which her unborn child will be born. “Everyone laughs when my husband and I tell friends that we won’t know the sex of our child until the age of eighteen,” the model hopes. Vogue convey as little gender bias to her child as possible.
“As progressive as I hope to be, I understand the desire to know the sex of our unborn child,” Ratajkowski nuances her views. “I told my husband I’m not sure I would really want to have a girl. I just never thought about what it would be like to have a boy.”
29-year-old Ratajkowski got her first modeling contract when she was fourteen years old. The model has appeared in a number of films and video clips by Taio Cruz and Maroon 5, among others. She was best known for her performance in the video at Blurred Lines van Robin Thicke.
