This Sunday morning Urshela had been confirmed by Aaron Boone as the starting shortstop for the New York team.; however, the plans took a completely different course as the hours passed.

According to a report by Joel Sherman of the New York Post, Yankees would be absorbing the debt of 50 million of dollars that was pending in the Donaldson contract con Twins.

With the movement, Yankees they would also be covering the left side of their infield with the experienced Donaldson at third base and Isaiah Kiner-Falefa at shortstopalthough the latter can also serve as a third baseman and catcher.

For its part, Ben Rortvedt could assume the role of starting catcher with the Muleswhile Sánchez and Urshela would go on to occupy the waiting room and reception, respectively, with Minnesota.

Even with this change, The possibility that free agents like Trevor Story or Carlos Correa could sign with the Big Apple organization is not ruled outas it is a position that has left many doubts in recent seasons.
