Chopped up! New York Yankees have optioned pitcher Domingo Germán to his alternate training site after i had a poor performance in his start as a starter against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Dominican pitcher had just made his return to the MLB after missing the entire 2020 Season following a domestic violence suspension.
Surprisingly (or not) the New York Yankees have decided to choose Domingo Germán to their alternative training site, news that they made known through social networks, such as their official Twitter account.
The Bronx organization would have made this decision as a result of the departure that Germán had in the game between the Yankees and the Tampa Rays on the day of this Saturday, April 10, because he did not have a good performance.
Following today’s game, the Yankees optioned RHP Domingo Germán to the Alternate Site.

The San Pedro de Macorís native exited the game after four full innings of work in which he allowed eight hits, two home runs and four runs to finish with a 9.00 ERA. Additionally, he struck out five opponents and walked one.
Domingo Germán had just made his return to the MLB mounds on April 4 in an opening against the Toronto Blue Jays, this after missing the entire season due to a suspension for domestic violence.
