– The search operation ended at 00.30. She was found safe and sound after tips, good investigation and search, says operations manager at Trøndelag police district, Trond Volden to Adresseavisen.

Searching by helicopter
Just before midnight, the rescue helicopter Sar Queen was in the air over Byåsen.
– We are looking into the night with undiminished strength. Helicopter searches are underway now and a number of residents on Byåsen will notice, Volden said.

Works with electronic tracks
Operations Manager Solfrid Lægdheim said earlier in the evening that the police had worked for a while with only their own resources and they had their own dog patrols out in search early.
– There may be later observations than 14 o’clock that have been made by witnesses and that give us relevant information, Lægdheim said.

Used drone
Task leader Håkon Jørgensen coordinated the search effort on site and said at 22 o’clock that air support such as a rescue helicopter and drone will be considered.
Just before 11 pm, a drone was prepared from Trøndelag fire and rescue service. It was in the air a few minutes later.
