Minsal reports 1,942 new COVID-19 infections and 60 new deaths: total cases reaches 397,665 | National

This Sunday, the Ministry of Health delivered a new balance of figures related to the covid-19 pandemic that affects Chile.

In that sense, the health authority confirmed 1,942 new infections, 60 new deaths, bringing to a total of 397,665 infections since the pandemic began and reaching a total of 10,852 deaths as a result of the virus.

On the occasion, the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, highlighted that the PCR positivity rate continues to decrease. However, it expressed concern about the cases in the Ñuble, Bío Bío, La Araucanía and Magallanes regions.
