Ministry of Health records 138 new cases of Coronavirus, 10 deaths, and 68 infected people have recovered

Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 68 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 98,157 cases until today.

In its daily statement, the Ministry stated that 138 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 10 new cases.

She said that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

She stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Saturday, is 105,297 cases, including 98,157 cases that have been cured, and 6109 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the ministry has also allocated a number of communication means to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Egypt Health” application available on phones.
