“For Novavax, it will be around 4 million doses and Pfizer may be 5 million doses in July 2021. But for this type of Pfizer is still an estimate,” Siti Nadia told ANTARA by telephone, Wednesday evening, May 19, 2021.
Siti Nadia said the Ministry of Health would prioritize the use of the Novavax vaccine and Pfizer for the government’s third batch of vaccination programs. The target group is some of the elderly (elderly), public service providers and the general vulnerable population.
“This is the target of the 3rd stage of vaccination in the predetermined priority groups,” he said.
In this third batch, the government has set a target number of 140 million people who are divided into several groups.
First, are vulnerable people seen from a geospatial aspect or those who live geographically who have a high or continuous incidence of COVID-19 and tend not to decline.
Second, people are vulnerable from economic and social aspects, such as economically weak people to people with disabilities or mental disorders.
