Ministry of Health announces measures against Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced the measures of care and prevention before the coronavirus:

1. Nicaragua has not established, nor will it establish, any type of Quarantine.

2. If there are cases with respiratory symptoms and an epidemiological link, that Person, or Persons, will be admitted to a Health Unit for study and follow-up.

3. If there are cases that show positive signs and evidence for Coronavirus, they will be admitted to the Health Unit established for their medical care.

4. Persons coming from Countries with risk of transmission established by WHO, and without symptoms, will not have any restrictions on their mobility and displacement in the Country.

5. We will continue to promote Preventive Measures in the general population.
