The Government Minister, María Paula Romo, reported on Monday night that one of the occupants of the plane that crashed in Tumbes, Peru, is Daniel Salcedo, implicated in alleged cases of corruption in the IESS hospital network.
The official added that the police services of Ecuador and Peru worked together to obtain the fingerprints of the wounded and the deceased in the accident.
Romo explained that the pertinent steps are taken for the delivery of Salcedo to the Ecuadorian justice.

The crashed plane belongs to the politician Alfredo Adum Ziadé, who earlier indicated that the ship, supposedly, it would have been stolen. He said he did not know the injured occupants.
Eva García, Ecuador’s ambassador to Peru, indicated in an interview with NotiMundo, that one of the occupants injured in the accident, tested positive for COVID-19.
