Fajar.co.id, Surabaya – The government continues to encourage the acceleration of vaccination in the country to accelerate the achievement of communal immunity or herd immunity. Vaccination activities were carried out in various regions in Indonesia involving various parties including BRI.
BRI together with the Ministry of SOEs carried out vaccination activities through the Joint Vaccination Center in Probolinggo and Pasuruan, East Java. This vaccination activity was carried out on August 14-18 2021 and was carried out at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo Regency and Al Yasini Integrated Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan Regency.
The Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, accompanied by the President Director of BRI, Sunarso, also directly ensured the vaccination activities at the Joint Vaccination Center initiated by BRI on Saturday (14/8/2021). On this occasion, 10,000 participants are ready to take part in vaccination activities. The participants are the students/students, boarding school administrators, the general public and the elderly.
According to Erick, the Ministry of SOEs and state-owned companies as development agents always carry out synergies and breakthroughs in efforts to deal with Covid-19 to accelerate the realization of the vision of Healthy Indonesia through a massive vaccination program. This step was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and various other agencies.
“To help accelerate the vaccination program, SOEs have organized joint vaccination centers in various places, both with the TNI, both directly with the community, and also with the local government,” said Erick.
