Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham’s extravagant wedding was a textbook celebration. Behind the scenes, however, things were chaotic in advance, as a court dispute now shows.
About a month before the million dollar wedding of the celebrity children Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, the couple was left without a wedding planner.
This has now been revealed in a lawsuit filed in Miami against wedding planners Arianna Grijalba and Nicole Braghin. It was submitted by billionaire Nelson Peltz, father of Nicola.
After original wedding planner Preston Bailey, who organized Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s wedding, threw in the towel six weeks before the ceremony, Peltz and Beckham booked Grijalba and Braghin.

Nelson Peltz paid them a deposit of 159,000 dollars (approx. 145,500 francs) for this. The problem: just nine days later, the two replacement planners were gone too. However, they are said to have never paid back the deposit, which is why Nelson Peltz is now going to court.
Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba were overwhelmed by the scale of the celebration, as the Daily Mail quotes from the lawsuit: “The guest list included more than five hundred people, including numerous celebrities, athletes, politicians and other influential people from all over the world traveled the world to take part in the event.”
According to the newspaper, the wedding should have cost a total of around 3.5 million dollars (approximately 3.2 million francs). “The celebrity of the wedding couple coupled with the expected attendance of many high-profile guests required the wedding planner to have the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding event of the anticipated caliber and complexity.” That was not the case with Plan Design Events.
Because the organizers are said to have provided false information about their company, according to the lawsuit, they were booked anyway.
Third wedding planner made it
Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba have not yet commented on the allegations. After them, celebrity wedding planner Michelle Ragos took over to host the event. Guests such as Brooklyn Beckham’s famous parents David and Victoria, rapper Snoop Dogg or Serena and Venus Williams celebrated for three days at Nelson Peltz’s Florida estate.
Due to the short-term nature of the request, Peltz had to pay the wedding planner Ragos a “considerable bonus”, as the lawsuit also shows.
