The candy shelf is usually accessed according to the motto: what you know also ends up in the shopping cart. But there are so many delicious and equally cheap chocolate alternatives hidden on the shelf, as the large test by Stiftung Warentest shows.-
The experts examined a total of 24 bars of chocolate. Attention was paid to the taste, appearance and consistency of the chocolate. The chocolates have also been tested in the laboratory for germs, bacteria and pollutants. And lo and behold: branded products are not always the best.
Because in addition to the top dogs with Milka, Ritter Sport or Lindt, there are lesser-known manufacturers that are even ahead of the chocolate sizes in terms of taste. The best: The winner of the large chocolate test of the Stiftung Warentest costs just one euro per 100 g and even scores with a Fairtrade seal and the guarantee of planting a tree in Mexico for every five bars sold. Here you can feast without a guilty conscience.
