As the Police in Chemnitz announced that the driver of a tanker truck had hit another truck at the end of the traffic jam for an unknown cause.
As a result of the collision, the tanker truck broke off to the right. The driver’s cab tore off and fell onto the road.
The driver suffered the most serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
Highway 4 was heading towards Dresden fully blocked.
According to the police, long traffic jams formed there and on the A14.
