Milan-Udinese, tickets at 1 euro. Ultrà tickets with Daspo: club fined

The game at 18.45 on Friday penalizes the box office: the Rossoneri have started a promotion to fill the Meazza as much as possible. Meanwhile, the club receives a sanction from the Milan police headquarters

Tickets at 1 euro in eleven sectors of the Meazza. This is the initiative that Milan is promoting in view of Milan-Udinese, to try to fill the stadium even in a rather complicated match from the point of view of schedules: the match, in fact, is scheduled for Friday at 6.45 pm. The return of the capacity to 75% would theoretically allow for 56,904 spectators at the Meazza: to get as close as possible to this threshold, the club in via Aldo Rossi has launched the “Promo Friends”.

What’s it about? Those who buy a full ticket – or an Under 30 or Over 60 ticket – are entitled to have up to a maximum of 3 additional tickets, at the price of 1 euro each. The sectors in which the promotion is valid are in all three rings of the plant: Armchairs Arancio, Arancio Centrale and Arancio Centrale X; Second Central and Lateral Red; Second Central and Lateral Orange; Second Green; Third Central and Lateral Red; Third Blue. A way to hear the fans closer, just as Milan is busy in the Scudetto sprint.

The sanction

In the meantime, however, Milan has also received a fine. The Milan police commissioner, Giuseppe Petronzi, contested the administrative violation relating to the sale of tickets at a reduced price to people affected by Daspo. The violation provides for the “reduced” payment of 66,667 euros. The fine was issued at the end of investigations started in September 2021 following the alleged sale of tickets by Milan, on the occasion of home matches, to more recipients of Daspo or other preventive measures. The passage would have taken place through the Italian Milan Club Association and referred to tickets at the “Secondo Blu” club. Investigators, also through testimonies, have discovered that in some cases the coupons were classified with the “Aimc Tariff” but made out to fans not affiliated with the Association but adhering to the Curva Sud. An increase in the nominal price of the ticket was also found that would have fueled the phenomenon of secondary ticketing. The Milan Club “Secondo Blu” is made up of about 2000 people mostly belonging to the ultrà of the Curva Sud and chaired by a 35-year-old recipient of various Daspo measures and – as communicated by the police station – never rehabilitated. Tickets are sold through the AIMC terminals, which buy them individually on the basis of a list of names collected by the organized supporters and sent by email. Subsequently, before the game, the coupons are sent by e-mail to the 35-year-old or to other people related to the Curva Sud who pay in cash.
