In the Route d’Occitanie, 1 “spring cyclist” made a big impression: Sonny Colbrelli.
He sprinted faster than everyone in the 2nd stage and that was not an easy finish. On Saturday I expect the most from him.
Sam Bennett’s name also rolls smoothly over the tongues in the cycling peloton. In Burgos he won a stage in a rather impressive way. Milan-Sanremo could therefore end in a duel between Colbrelli and Bennett.
Last week we also got the first glimpse of the Tour riders. Bernal was the master of the Tour d’Occitanie.
I hear that Froome is already making a good impression. He still misses that last explosive effort uphill, but that can still turn out well against the Tour.
