At the end of the internet voting, in which viewers and listeners could choose the seventeenth participant of the “Eurovision” national selection semifinals, musician Miks Galvanovskis with the song “I’m Just A Sinner” will also fight for the right to represent Latvia in the song competition in Italy.
The authors of the song “I’m Just A Sinner” are Miks Galvanovskis and Reinis Briģis.
Miks Galvanovskis has been a soloist in the group “Not Elsewhere”. He started his solo career in 2016, in 2017 he participated in the national selection of “Eurovision”.
Miks is the creator of the project “Association of Young Musicians”, in 2018 he released his debut album “In Pieces”, in 2019 in collaboration with producer Reini Briģi – a small album “No 2-5”. The musician also plans to release an album this year.
The jury has already selected 16 participants for the Eurovision national semi-finals: Aminata, Beatrice Heisler, Bermuda Triangle, Bujāns, Other Boys, Elīna Gluzunova, Inspo, Katō, Linda Rušeniece, Markus Riva, “We Love You,” Mickey Dukur, Patrick Peterson, Raum, The Coco’nuts, and Zelma.
The semi-final of the competition will take place on February 5, the final – on February 12.
