(ANSA) – AGRIGENTO, OCTOBER 10 – Repeated landings in Lampedusa where, within a few hours, 433 migrants, mostly Tunisians, arrived with several small boats.

All have already been taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district that had been emptied in recent days, waiting to be boarded on quarantine ships after the results of the swabs. There are a total of 15 small boats that, one after the other, managed to reach the waters in front of the island of Lampedusa. To intercept them, taking them to the commercial dock or to the Favarolo dock, were the patrol boats of the Harbor Master’s Office and the Finance Police. On board the “carts” there were from a minimum of 9 to a maximum of 55 people. Among them, also women and minors. One of the boats managed to arrive directly on the mainland, exactly at the Madonnina pier. The Carabinieri stopped the Tunisians immediately after landing. (HANDLE).
