A video of male students who are presumed to be junior high school students assaulting an elderly person is being released, and they are making a mistake. The Uijeongbu Police Department announced on the 22nd that it has checked the identities of middle school students who are the perpetrators of the assault and the elderly in their 70s who are victims in the video.

The video circulated through social network services (SNS) such as Facebook from the previous day showed a male student strangled and fell to the floor of a grandmother who exchanged swear words on the Uijeongbu Light Railroad.

In another video, a male student, who appears to be a middle school student in the subway’s seat of the elderly, has an argument with his grandfather and talks about swearing and then listening to discipline.

The videos were filmed by the students themselves, and the filming date was reported to be a few days ago.

Netizens criticized them by leaving comments such as “How did you get home education”, “What did your parents do up to that point?”, “I wonder why no one is drying up”.

One netizen claimed that “the students in the video attend OO Middle School in Uijeongbu” and released their mobile phone number.

The Cheong Wa Dae national petition even posted an article requesting that students in the video be severely punished.

In the investigation, the police summoned two people, A (13) and B (13), who were in the first grade at a middle school in the Uijeongbu region and investigated the charges of assault.

The police are planning to send them to the juvenile department of the court without filing a criminal case as all of them are 13 years old and are called juniors.

In addition, the children of C, a grandmother in their 70s, who were assaulted in the video, reported the video to the police after seeing the video and called C to investigate. Mr. C expressed his intention to punish the students in a police investigation.

The identity of his grandfather, who had a dispute on the subway, has yet to be identified.
