Microsoft’s Remote Desktop supports Apple’s M1 chips

New version for the remote control application. Microsoft is essentially making compatibility fixes for Big Sur and M1 chip support. Remote Desktop can therefore do without Rosetta.

There are some other improvements, such as support for Kerberos in the CredSSP sequence, better compatibility with current and future versions of the Windows Virtual Desktop service, or the correction of a bug that could hide remote Office windows.

Like the previous ones, the new version can be recovered from the Mac App Store.
