Microsoft will begin testing x64 emulation in ARM version Windows 10 in November – Tablets and Phones – News

The folks at Code Weavers, makers of Wine and Cross Over, are working on an arm-x64 compatibility layer. If this works, you could theoretically run any x64 Windows application on ARM (Windows and Mac). In addition, they are working with an x64-x32 layer, so you can continue to run 32bit applications on a system with only 64bit components.

However, as a Linux user, I just warn you honestly, Wine is not the best and most of all it’s a beautiful one addition to still be able to play games. Steam has integrated it, and pretty good success, but it keeps crazing.

All in all, it will be quite a job to keep your existing game collection running.
