Microsoft shows several prototypes of Xbox Series S

Always wanted to know what designs Microsoft considered for the Xbox Series S before it was unveiled? This is now possible thanks to a photo published online!

The photo of the prototypes can be found in a article by Medium. It includes squares and narrow, Wii-like shapes, although the large circle that ventilates the console has always been a part of the design.

In the article, senior design director Nicolas Denhez says that the final shape of the Xbox Series S has been chosen, so that the console easily fits everyone in the house. “We visited gamers’ homes and the way they place their consoles has influenced all the design choices we made.”

Both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X will be available November 10.
