One of the most attractive offers that existed for Xbox in almost all markets for years has just ended possibly forever. Microsoft has stopped its $1 trial offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

In other words, the excellent proposal that existed to “hook” new members to the subscription service for a month (before the full subscription of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starts at 14.99 per month or 9.99 per month for subscriptions only for PC or console), it ends, and now we will have to wait to find out what other promotions are launched, as explained in a statement a The Verge Kari Perez, director of global communications for Xbox:

We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future.

We remember that the company has recently focused on its Friends & Family plan for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The plan allows you to share the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with up to four friends or family, although it is not in all markets. Currently found in New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Hungary, Israel and Sweden, but not yet it is available in many European markets or in the UK and US.

Precisely, this last movement putting The end of the 1 euro for a month offer could be a sign of an upcoming expansion of Friends & Family to the main markets where it has not yet expanded, perhaps adding a new offer.
