Microsoft is achieving its goal for Windows 10

The company announced Microsoft Today, Monday, the number of devices that are running the operating system (Windows 10Window 10 billion devices, achieving its goal that it set for itself when the system was first launched about 5 years ago.

(Youssef Mahdi) – Microsoft’s vice president of search and hardware – said in PostToday, we are pleased to announce that more than one billion users use Windows 10 in 200 countries, bringing the number of active Windows 10 devices to 10. He added: “We cannot be more grateful to our customers, partners and employees for helping us get here.”

The announced number includes all personal computers, laptops, the Xbox One platform, and HoloLens that are running Windows 10 and later.

By announcing that it has reached 1 billion devices, Microsoft has achieved its goal that it set for itself at the launch of Windows 10 in late July 2015, however, the company is about two years later than it was hoping to achieve. Microsoft also announced that more than 17.8 million users are participating in its Windows Insider beta program.

It is noteworthy that the achievement announced by Microsoft today, comes about two months after the end of support for Windows 7, which was among the most successful versions among the different versions of Windows.
