Microsoft announces new games for Xbox and Game Pass subscription NOW

Microsoft showed images of several new Xbox games on Thursday. The games will be available on the Xbox Series X, the new game console that will be released later this year. This includes images of the previously announced Halo Infinite and trailers for State of Decay 3 in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

The Xbox Games Showcase featured previously announced Xbox games, as well as new titles. All games will be available on Game Pass, the Xbox subscription that gives players access to a range of different games.

Halo Infinite

It announced in 2018 Halo Infinite got a lot of attention with a nearly nine-minute trailer showing the first footage from the game. In the sequel to Halo 5: Guardians the focus is again on the Master Chief character.

State of Decay 3

The post-apocalyptic zombie series State of Decay gets a third title: State of Decay 3. The game was announced with a trailer of a woman who wanders in the forest and encounters an undead deer eating a wolf. It is unclear when exactly the game will be released.

Forza Motorsport

The racing game series Power gets a new game called Forza Motorsport. During the Games Showcase it was emphasized that all images from the trailer come directly from the game. When the game becomes available has not been announced.

Everwild

The fantasy game announced in 2019 Everwild revolves around a world in which people live harmoniously with nature. Players can explore the virtual world full of fabulous creatures. More details about the game have not yet been announced.

Tell Me Why

During the Xbox Games Showcase, footage of the first chapter of the narrative game was shown Tell Me Why shown. The game revolves around twins from the American state of Alaska in which the player explores their youth. The game will be released August 27 for Xbox One and Windows 10.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

Peril on Gorgon is an extension set for The Outer Worlds, a science fiction game set in an alternative world in the year 2355 where space colonization is advanced. With the expansion, players land on the asteroid Gorgon, a “lawless den of monsters and looters”.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

Also Phantasy Star Online 2 gets an extension. Will arrive in 2021 New Genesis Out, which gives the adventure game “Infinite Adventures and Unparalleled Character Customization.”

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

It also picked up again in 2018 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to Xbox Series X. A trailer was shown for the first time at the Games Showcase. As Dusk Falls

In the announced game As Dusk Falls Two families come together in a small town in the US state of Arizona. After a mistaken robbery, the player discovers the history of both families over a period of thirty years.
