Michigan anti-containment protests

In the United States, demonstrators gathered in Lansing, Michigan on Thursday to protest against the containment measures.

Several hundred people, some of them armed, moved in the pouring rain in front of the Michigan State Capitol, in defiance of the instructions of the Democratic governor.

With more than 48,000 cases of Covid-19 and 4,714 deaths, Michigan is the fourth state in the United States most affected by the pandemic.
