If the young woman had mentioned her sexuality in the first episode, she wanted to talk this time about her mental health and the fact that she “hated“let her father dress her like a doll when she was younger:”I was the only daughter of four boys for the first 10, 11 years of my life. Because I was the only girl, my father liked to dress. I looked like a porcelain doll and I hated it.“
If Paris Jackson admits to having attempted to kill herself several times, she declared that she had turned to self-harm because her adolescence had been a traumatic period. And if Prince Jackson’s little sister has a complicated relationship with her body, her father’s death in 2009 had made her gain weight: “Food became an addiction and then a cousin said I was fat and I said to myself, ‘Okay, I can’t go on.’ And that’s how I fell into self-harm. I cut myself and burned myself. I never thought I would die because I always controlled the razor and I knew how far I was going.“
Paris Jackson evokes his father’s open-mindedness
If Paris Jackson did not appreciate the outfits that her father made her wear, it was during the first episode of her series that she revealed how lucky she was to have such an open-minded father. Indeed, if the young woman of 22 years has lived an idyll for two years with the musician Gabriel Glenn, she has long wondered about her sexuality. However, she says today that her father had “quickly understood” : “I think he felt the energy and he teased me from the mother so that he teased my brothers by saying: ‘You have a girlfriend!’ when I looked too long at women in magazines. I am very lucky to have had this, especially when so young, at 8 or 9 years old. Few children have this experience.“
