Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Denisenko shared these conclusions on the air of the national telethon.
“If we talk about the capital and about the Kiev direction, and about the grouping of Russian troops in Belarus, unfortunately, it cannot be ruled out that Kyiv will be the next stage of their attacks,” Denisenko said.
Further, the adviser added that Odessa could become another target for the invaders. Probably, this refers to the landing of an amphibious assault, the risks of which were previously repeatedly said.
However, the main task of the enemy is an offensive in the Donbass, in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. On the territory of the first, the Russians seek to capture Popasnaya and Rubizhne, and on the territory of the second, Mariupol remains a priority. They seek to occupy it in order to continue the offensive in the direction of Slavyansk – Kramatorsk.
Separately, Denisenko noted the change in the leadership of the Russian army, which operates in Ukraine. General Alexander Dvornikov was appointed the new commander. He must ensure better coordination in the interventionist army.
