Mexico’s consulates in North America to open on Saturday, July 9 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs | Government

  • Mexico’s 57 consular offices in North America will open their doors on Saturday, July 9 to issue passports, consular ID cards and voter registration cards
  • More than 6,000 appointments will be available at no charge at MiConsulado: citas.sre.gob.mx or at 1-424-039-0009, starting on Tuesday, July 5

On Saturday, July 9, Mexico’s 55 consulates in North America, as well as the consular sections of the Mexican embassies in Washington, D.C. and Ottawa, will open their doors to Mexicans who are unable to go during regular business hours. All of the offices will issue passports and consular ID cards and help with voter registration cards.

You can schedule your appointment starting on Tuesday, July 5 by visiting the MiConsulado website: citas.sre.gob.mx or by calling 1(424)-309-0009. For more information about hours and locations, consult the website of your nearest consulate.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue working to serve the needs of the Mexican communities in North America. The appointments are free. Do not share your personal information with unofficial agents or people you don’t know who could misuse it.
