A policeman faced three assailants in a public transport truck on the Mexico-Puebla highway, events that left a balance of three dead people, including the officerIn addition, two passengers were injured.
Through a video on June 24, broadcast on social networks, it is observed how three individuals aboard a passenger truck, are stripping their belongings from people; before this, a man drew a gun and shot the criminals.
According to information from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), the man who confronted the assailants was identified as an active element of the Edomex Auxiliary Security Corps (CUSAEM), who he carried his charge weapon during the events.
In the recording it is observed how, in the first instance, he shoots at the assailant who is in the front of the truck, to then use his weapon against others located on the back.
It is also perceived how criminals repel the shots of the uniformed, while two of these descend from the truck from the rear.
The SSC reports that officers of this agency were alerted by an emergency call to 911 in relation to an assault on public transport and that, when they went to the place, they noticed two dead people on the asphalt layer.
According to the report, three people died, including the policeman and two of the assailants; In addition, two passengers were injured.
Regarding these events, the capital city police reported that the agent of the Public Ministry of the area and federal authorities were informed of what happened, who would be in charge of the corresponding investigations.
