Mexico applies 423,652 new doses of COVID vaccines; go 107.1 million – El Financiero

Until the last cut, Mexico applied 423 thousand 652 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, bringing a total of 107 million 154 thousand 354 inoculations, reported this Sunday the Ministry of Health.

Of the total number of people inoculated, 48 million 510 thousand 493, equivalent to 73 percent, have a complete vaccination scheme and 17 million 814 thousand 462, 27 percent, with a medium scheme.

Meanwhile, with the latest arrival of vaccines, the country has received a total of 123 million 924 thousand 685 doses since last December 23, 2020.


During this week, Mexico received 4 million 977 thousand 400 doses of the COVID vaccine, of which 594 thousand 360 were from Pfizer, 2 million 596 thousand 600 from AstraZeneca, 286 thousand 440 from CanSino and one million 500 thousand Sputnik V.

Hospital occupancy nationwide shows a reduction of 78 percent. Likewise, 43 thousand 381 estimated active cases of the virus are registered.
