The Metal Slut saga could soon return to iPhone after the first title launched in 2016. Timi Studios from Timient have released a trailer for the new “Metal Slug Code: J.“, A title which, unless surprised, will also be published on the App Store.
The new title picks up on the gameplay for which Metal Slug games are known, with lots of action, vehicles full of weapons, explosions and much more. The difference from the previous titles is the presence of 3D movements and dynamics and a more modern graphic style.
At the moment, we don’t know when Metal Slug Code: J will be released, but we will certainly know more in the coming weeks.
Previous Metal Slug games on iOS include Metal Slug Touch from 2009, Metal Slug: Super Vehicle-001 and Metal Slug 3 from 2012, Metal Slug 2: Super Vehicle-001 / II and Metal Slug X of 2013, Metal Slug Defense from 2014 and Metal Slug Attack from 2016. Of these, only Metal Slug Touch seems to be no longer available on the App Store.
