The time is approaching first deliveries for the new Mercedes-AMG One, the sports car from the Stella car manufacturer that will reach its first customers in 2021. And it will do so with some unannounced innovations that will make the owners who have decided to buy it happy. On all stands that of power surplus: according to the latest rumors, in fact, the new AMG One of the German brand will not boast the announced power of 1,000 HP, but 1,200 HP.
In fact, remember that the sports car mounts a 1.6-liter turbo V6 engine derived from that of a Formula 1 car, flanked by at least four electric motors. The increase in overall power derives from some interventions by the Mercedes engineers, who had to work on the powertrain to solve some problems encountered in terms of cold starting and adaptation of an engine derived from F1 to a road production vehicle. The improvements made by Mercedes have not yet been completed: some defections remain to be filed in terms of noise and vibrations while driving. Probably in a short time we will see new tests by the German car manufacturer, which wants to fine-tune its sports car perfectly.
