Lens to return to Ligue 1 next season

Back in Ligue 1 after five seasons in L2, RC Lens intends to animate the summer transfer window. The northern club will not have astronomical means to recruit – an envelope of 18 M € is mentioned -, but it has ideas. And they are quite numerous, as revealed by L’Equipe this Tuesday.
Morel targeted in defense
In defense, the Blood and Gold have targeted Jrmy Morel (36 years). At the end of the contract, the versatile defender is not opposed to an extension in Rennes, but he is not insensitive to Lensois interest and requests a two-year contract. Will the two parties reach an agreement? In any case, the former Marseillais and Lyonnais would bring valuable experience to the promoted. Lens also thinks of the Trojan central defender Kiki Kouyat (23 years old) and on the left side of Toulouse Issiaga Sylla (26 years).
As a reminder, two arrivals are already being finalized in this sector. As recently, the right side of the Arminia Bielefeld, Jonathan Clauss (27), and the central defender of Le Havre, Loc Bad (20 years old), should commit soon. Last month, the names of Maxime Le Marchand (30, Fulham) and Jrmy Glin (23, Rennes) were also announced on Lensoise shelves.
N’Doram flat in the middle, a former Marseillais also targeting
In the middle of the field, where the name of Aminois Thomas Monconduit (29 years old) was mentioned a few weeks ago, Kvin N’Doram (24 years old) is announced as the priority for the position of defensive midfielder by the sports daily. Problem, the Mongasque claims a salary significantly higher than the 80,000 € monthly he receives on the Rock. Metz, where he was ready this season, is ready to make great efforts in terms of salary to complete a final transfer around 4 M €. The Garnets therefore seem to hold the rope.
Other tracks exist, and one of them leads Charles Kabor (32 years old). A name that will bring back memories to OM supporters, where the Burkinab flew between 2007 and 2013. Evaluate less than 5 M €, the 2010 French champion has been flying since 2013 in Russia. He went through the Kouban Krasnodar and the FK Krasnodar before joining Dynamo Moscow in 2019. The former Stphanois Ismal Diomand (27), who is now flying Rizespor (Turkey), is another track studied.
Kakuta and Crivelli in the viewfinder in attack
In the offensive sector, the interest for Gal Kakuta (28) has been known for several weeks. The attacking midfielder will not continue his career in L2 with Amiens, but his price (5.5 M €) and his salary are high. If his training club seems ready to make an effort for the transfer fee, the moluments are a brake. But the interest is mutual and the two parties could make an effort.
Finally, the RCL took information on the attacker Enzo Crivelli (25 years). The player who went through Bordeaux, Bastia, Angers and Caen moved to Istanbul Basaksehir, which has spent 3 M € to recruit him in 2019. It remains to be seen if the Turkish club is open to negotiations while the native of Rouen, who had never scored more than 10 goals in the same exercise, achieved his most prolific season (13 goals).
