In the protest note that will be sent, PSSI will also include video footage of the Vietnam vs Thailand match.

The part of the match that PSSI questioned was the last 10 minutes of the match.

PSSI assessed that Vietnam and Thailand deliberately only did short passes in the area behind the defense so that the 1-1 draw lasted until the end of the match.

The coach of the Indonesian U19 national team, Shin Tae-yong, was also a person who questioned the integrity of Vietnam and Thailand.

Shin Tae-yong not only criticized Vietnam and Thailand but also considered the head to head rules for the 2022 AFF U19 Cup to be “outdated”.

The South Korean coach even assessed that Vietnam and Thailand had deliberately drawn 1-1 for fear of facing Indonesia.

Despite the various controversies that exist, the Indonesian U19 national team must immediately get up to forget the failure in the 2022 AFF U19 Cup.

This is because the U19 Indonesia national team is scheduled to take part in a bigger event, namely the 2023 U20 Asian Cup Qualification in September 2022. (Mochamad Hary Prasetya)
