Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood gave birth to their first child “a few weeks ago”, the two announced via Friday Instagram.
“Huxley Robert Wood was born a few weeks ago and this little boy is everything,” Benoist writes with a photo of her son’s hand. Wood shares the same photo with the caption, “Our son is born. His name is Huxley. He’s amazing and no, it’s probably not your business. Be right back, see you in eighteen years.”
The 31-year-old actress and 32-year-old actor, both of whom are in the now-canceled series Supergirl were on display, announced the pregnancy in March. The two have been together since 2017 and got married last year.
Previously, Benoist was married to Blake Jenner. They met in 2012 on the set of Glee and decided to get married in March 2015. She filed for a divorce in 2016 and it was finalized in 2017.
