The classic story about two young people, madly in love, but separated by family feud, is the basis of the drama “Windy”, which in two consecutive years – in 2019 and 2020, won the award for best series in Turkey.
The main character in it is the beautiful Reyan Shadoolu, who is the granddaughter of one of the most influential families in Midyat. From an early age she listened to tales in which goodness and love always prevail, she strongly believed that in life justice always prevailed. But she grows up and falls in love with Miran, because of which she will understand how naive her ideas have been so far.
The young man is a businessman who came to Midyat from Istanbul. He is of the Aslanbey family and was raised as a child with the idea of revenge against one man – Reyan’s father – Nasuh Shadoolu. After Miran and Reyan meet, they fall in love with each other. But the young woman is the daughter of her lover’s mortal enemy. If Miran wants to be with Reyan, he will have to forgive the one he considers his enemy. If he fulfills his plan of revenge, he will have to forget about his great love.
Miran and Reyan are still getting married. And the day after his first wedding night, the young man abandons his wife. It turns out that this is part of his plan of revenge.
Thus begins the story in “Windy”, which started in March 2019 in our southern neighbor and has so far been sold for broadcast in 125 countries. The main role in it – Reyan, is played by Ebru Shahin, who played Burju in “Forever”. In the image of her screen favorite Miran is Akan Akyonjozyu, who had a special role – the janissary Ali, in “The Magnificent Century: Kocem”.
“Vyatarnichav” has a high audience in our southern neighbor, where it continues to broadcast now. But some of the actors who have been in it from the very beginning have decided to retire. Among them are several key characters such as Harun, played by actor Ahmet Kaykesen. Only a few days ago, the last scenes of Melike, played by the young Asla Samat, were shown in Turkey.
The actress is going through a serious transformation before entering the series – she loses 100 kg. In 2013, she decided it was time to get in shape. And so, from 173 kg then, she now weighs about 75 years. She says that because of her overweight she often had nervous breakdowns and could not sleep at night at all. “I was unhappy – without love, without work, without money, I had absolutely nothing. Only my mother was next to me. One night I decided to lose weight. I cried and cried, and in the morning I woke up and told my mother that I would have a stomach operation, ”she wrote on social media.
Before undergoing surgery when traveling on a bus, she has to be in two seats and always feels fat and fat. But instead of reaching for healthy foods, she would get up in the morning and eat pizza or other pasta for breakfast.
“I also went to a psychologist, I avoided men. My mother sewed my clothes because they didn’t sell my size anywhere. I don’t keep my old blouses and pants anymore, I threw them away. After losing weight, even my closest relatives could not recognize me. I told myself that after losing weight, I would wear a bikini, but I still don’t dare. I will lose a little more weight then. I want to gain 59 kilograms, and for this purpose I have to lose more. I also had deformities on my body and sagging skin, so I had a few more surgeries, ”says Asla.
She decided never to bid again. That’s why there are Pilates coaches to keep her in shape, in Istanbul and Midyat, where she shot “Windy”.
The actress often writes about her weight problems and how she manages to lose weight. He also plays videos entitled “How I Really Lost Weight”, in which he explains how he copes after the operations and the scars left by them.
“I was quite surprised when all sorts of people started writing to me who wanted me to tell them how I managed to lose weight. Their suffering encouraged me to shoot videos in which I told about all the pain I had to live with in my childhood and adolescence. I am happy to have the opportunity to encourage people by talking about the long and difficult journey I have had to go through, ”explained Aslı Samat.
The results of her significant transformation are there – she feels much more confident and receives dozens of marriage proposals from her fans.
