Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle appears to have wanted to ignore weather reports when she packed her bags for her 3-day trip to New York. The Duchess’s outfit did not go unnoticed on Thursday as she made official visits as a former member of the Royal Family of England. The former actress wore for the occasion a turtleneck and a winter coat while the temperatures were rather warm in the city: it was 27 degrees with a humidity of 70%.
This afternoon, the mother-of-two left The Carlyle hotel and walked towards United Nations HQ with another beige-colored coat.
Beside her the governor of New York, Kathy Hochul looked neat in a dark red dress with three-quarter sleeves.
Internet users and especially New Yorkers wondered on Twitter why the former actress appeared to be dressed like in the middle of winter.
Meghan Markle had already adopted a turtleneck and a long winter coat during the photoshoot held at her California mansion in Montecito for Time magazine, appearing to want to challenge the summer temperatures of California.
