Meghan Markle and Prince Harry guest son Archie on first Spotify podcast

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of Sussex recently launched their podcast series on the Spotify platform. The first episode, broadcast on December 29, lasts 33 minutes and is a bit like a retrospective of this special year 2020.

For the occasion, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex invited several stars to share their feelings and perceptions of 2020, including singer Elton John, tenniswoman Naomi Osaka, author Deepak Chopra, filmmaker Tyler Perry or even environmentalist Christina Adane. But the most noticed appearance is undoubtedly that of their son Archie.

At the end of the podcast, Meghan and Harry did indeed bring in their one-year-and-eight-month-old son, helping him say “Happy New Year“(Happy New Year). Those few words were enough to surprise, as the child already seems to have an American accent, now that his parents live in the United States.

It’s thoughtful programming“Daily Mail editor-in-chief Rebecca English commented in a tweet. “But I guess she’ll get more commentary for introducing Archie laughing and giggling as he wishes people a Happy New Year. He really has an American accent”, Added the journalist.

This first episode of the “Archewell audio” podcast was not unanimous because of its tone judged a little “Care Bears”. Evidenced by the Sussexes’ conclusion: “No matter what life throws at you, trust us when we say love wins”Said Meghan Markle. “Love always wins”, Added her husband Harry. The Sussex couple has launched several contracts with content platforms, including Spotify but also Netflix. Their Archewell project is divided into three parts: the Archewell Foundation which builds partnerships with charities, Archewell Audio for podcasts and Archewell Production for the video part.
