Megastar Casting Sees Unexpected Guest as Jury Prepares for New Season
The casting process for the upcoming season of Megastar has taken an intriguing turn with the surprise appearance of Gábor Fischer, the program strategy and content manufacturing director for the TV2 group. Fischer, who was expected to observe the auditions, rather found himself on stage, humorously introduced by the jury. This unexpected turn occured as jury members Gabi Tóth, Erika Prince, and Peti Marics were preparing to evaluate singing hopefuls, having shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their casting process in a video.
The jury, comprised of Tóth, Prince, and Marics, expressed their anticipation for talented singers. Prince’s visible surprise at Fischer’s appearance prompted a lighthearted remark from Marics, who quipped,”Well, the ice cream will really get back now!” Fischer, usually in an observational role, was playfully halted by the jury, who then engaged him in a humorous exchange rather than a formal audition. Curtis commented on Fischer’s presence, stating, “Well, not so well now that you are here.”
Gabi Tóth shared her positive experience with the show so far, noting that after several days of filming, she feels “the best in this show so far.” The jury members are confident in their collaborative dynamic, promising an season filled with increased tension and laughter. This new season introduces a notable change: the jury members will act as mentors, actively competing to recruit contestants.
Gábor Fischer had previously engaged his followers by sharing details of his “average working day,” including his visit to the Megastar casting sessions where he met the renewed jury for the new season. The introduction of mentors who will vie for contestants marks a notable evolution for the program.
