A medical student from the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) who disseminated through WhatsApp and within the framework of International Women’s Day, an image of the rape of the alleged corpse of a female, was expelled from the academic institution.
According to the UAEH, the Technical Council of the Institute of Health Sciences (Icsa) was the body that unanimously determined the expulsion of the student identified by his initials as AESM, who was pursuing a degree in Surgeon.
“It should be noted that the code of ethics and academic integrity stipulates that these types of actions receive the maximum penalty, which is the definitive withdrawal,” the institution reported in a press release released on Monday night.
The determination was made after students denounced their classmate for sharing the image of a subject who allegedly rapes a woman, whose head looks decapitated next to the rest of the body. Initially the school had only suspended until the aforementioned technical council will meet.
