In the Schilderswijk in The Hague, a group of young people causes nuisance. They have turned on fire hydrants, set off fireworks and caused destruction, a police spokesman said. The Mobile Unit has been deployed to restore order in the neighborhood. Some roads, including Parallelweg, have been closed off by the police.
“We are working hard to restore public order,” said the police spokesman. She cannot say how many young people are involved. Eyewitnesses speak of about 100 to 150 young people.
