Me Amadou Sall, former Minister of Justice under Wade, tested positive for covid-19 a few days ago, has just announced on his Facebook page that he was cured.

“I have tested positive for Covid 19 for a few days. Today I have tested negative twice in a row and declared cured. I left the hospital, my body aching, but relieved from the deadly virus.
I give thanks to God who protected me and allowed me to get out of it. I am proud and sincerely thank the doctors and all the nursing and non-nursing staff who have shown selflessness, patience, competence but above all generosity.
I let God recompense them from the righteous. I am sensitive to the suffering of my family as I am proud of everyone’s support. Without them, nothing would have been possible. My friends, our activists and officials can never be thanked enough for the support, the unfailing assistance, a permanent presence.
Their prayers and wishes have accompanied me. May God pay them for their sincere efforts. Thank you and thank you again to all, to all my friends. ”
