Osnabrück. In the debate about food prices in Germany, Holger Beeck, head of McDonald’s Germany, warned against hasty demands for price increases. In an interview with the New Osnabrück newspaper he said: “Not everyone can absorb a price increase for food quickly.” Part of the debate passed people’s problems. With regard to the almost 1,500 restaurants in his chain in Germany, Beeck said: “For example, when it comes to the number of visitors and sales, we notice very clearly whether we are still at the beginning of the month or already at the end, where the salary for many is pretty high.”
