McDavid beat the goal of 90 points, Crosby beat Mikita

McDavid became the fourth Oilers player to score at least 60 game-winning goals. Glenn Anderson (72), Wayne Gretzky (61) and Jari Kurri (60) did it before him.

After the game with the Blackhawks, four Edmonton players have at least 60 points. In addition to McDavid, Leon Draisaitl (76), Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (both 60 each). The Oilers became the ninth team in NHL history to have four 60-point players in their first 50 games. It was last achieved in the 1995-96 season by the quartet of the Pittsburgh Penguins – Mario Lemieux, Jaromír Jágr, Ron Francis and Tomas Sandström).

Aleksander Barkov tied the game with Boston at 3-3 with three seconds left, and finally his Florida team won in overtime. Barkov equaled the record of Patric Hörnqvist, who also scored in 59:57 on January 26, 2021. The latest goal in the club’s history was scored by Ivan Novoselcev (59:58, December 21, 2001).

Barkov (1+2) scored in the eleventh game in a row and reached the goal of 600 points (234+366) in his 638th game. He became the second player in a Panthers jersey (besides Jonathan Huberdeau) and the seventh Finn to do so.

Philadelphia goalkeeper Carter Hart zeroed out Winnipeg’s scorers, stopping 40 home shots and leading the Flyers to a 4-0 victory. He became the seventh goaltender in Flyers history to record at least 40 saves while keeping a clean sheet. The club record is held by Darren Jensen, who caught all 48 shots on January 25, 1986. Only Steve Mason (46), Doug Favell (43) and Roman Čechmánek (41) were better than Hart in Flyers history.
