Mbarek Boussoufa is a free player. The former Moroccan international is again without a club, after leaving the Qatari team, Al-Sailiya.
Arrived last August at Al-Sailiya, Mbarek Boussoufa is coming to the end of his contract which will not be renewed. The Qatari club has also announced the departure of the former Atlas Lion.

At 35, M’barek Boussoufa is looking for a club, he who does not seem to intend to hang up the crampons. If he announced his international retirement after CAN 2019, it is not the same for his future in club, despite the end of his adventure in Qatar.
Announced close to a return to Belgium, Boussoufa spent his glorious years there, elected double Golden Boot (2006,2010). The midfielder also made a short stint on loan from Lokomotiv Moscow. Since then, he has played in the Middle East where he has played in Al Jazeera, Al-Hilal, Al Shabab and finally All-Sailiya.
