Kylian Mbappe was apparently quite close to Gianluigi Buffon when the two played together at Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman was sad when his senior went home to Italy.

“Uncle Lass is like an older brother you can rely on. He often talks about his career, the club where he plays. He made a number of mistakes, so he advised me (not to do the same thing),” Mbappe told the French newspaper, ‘ Equipe.
“He helped me in difficult times. High-level football, he understood. He knew very well what he was talking about. He traveled to many clubs, almost around the world.”
“I always like to hear senior suggestions. (Gianluigi) Buffon is also very important to me.”
“Lassana was so respected in the dressing room. I felt lost when he left. Likewise when Buffon left,” explained the 2018 World Cup champion.
