“My children were very happy when they spotted a stag beetle in the garden last year”, says Mayor Inge Lenseclaes of Overijse. “By making way for a breeding heap, we want to lend a hand to the survival of this special beetle. And of course I also hope to be able to see a stag beetle in real life myself, ”she laughs.
